Galkin partners with ETON systems to bring revolutionary technology to bedding industry
ETON Technology revolutionizes Mattress Manufacturing
Galkin Automated Products has partnered with ETON systems to introduce a paradigm shift in thinking and technolgy with regards to material handling in bedding plants.
Hundreds of ETON systems have been in use for nearly 40 years in other industries, including apparel, home textile, commercial covers, and the pharmaceutical industry.
It's unique technology eliminates all non-value-added material handling in the factory, and makes use of the buildings volume, in addition to its floorspace.
In one case at Mohawk Carpet Factories, floor supervisors saw a capacity increase in its cut and serge department from 1800 pieces to 3000 pieces in an 8 hour shift. Mohawk attributed this increase in production completely to the ETON system, noting that no additional operators or machines were added beyond ETON to acheive this new production high.
Galkin will be working with ETON to introduce American bedding manufacturers to this revolutionary approach to production, and help owners and operation managers understand how to integrate the system into their own factories.
